4/24/2019 - Meet Our New Craftsman!
Our new craftsman, John Thiesen is better known as the ‘wood magician‘!
John started his craftsmanship in 1977 building furnishings for his own first apartment.
John is a self-taught cabinetmaker and a juried member of the Arts & Craftsmen Guild located on the historic Roycroft Campus in East Aurora, NY.
John works a variety of woods including white oak, mahogany, cherry, ash, maple and beech.

John builds mission style furniture and lighting, the latter known as Adirondack Craftsman Lighting which we are introducing here.

The lamp fixtures are made of various woods but most often white oak.
Shades usually have Mica lens available in two shades: amber and silver.
The woods have a natural finish or can be shellacked.

Most of John’s work is crafted to order, so please allow 2 - 4 weeks plus shipping time for delivery.
