Our friend Laura Wilder has been doing Arts & Crafts themed block printing now for 20+ years. She is a regular at the annual February Grove Park Inn Arts & Crafts Conference in Asheville, NC where she also conducts a workshop on block print making! She also does several other shows plus workshops, demonstrations, lectures and exhibits. Laura has also been featured in several magazine articles and does some commission work including the Grove Park Conference attendee gift poster. She’s one of our charming block print divas and truly practices the Arts & Crafts aesthetic.

Laura has issued many block prints over the years with some becoming absolutely Best Sellers! When one of Laura’s Best Sellers has sold out, Laura then adds the image to her giclee printed ‘Mini Prints’. So for those of us who can’t afford an original block print, we can enjoy the image as a hand-signed open edition Mini Print that comes in a Mission Style oak Frame.

We have just added the four new Mini Prints shown below to our website that now has a total of 30:

They are L to r: Lakeside Wood, Spring Blossoms, Sunlit Stream and Vineyard.

8/18/2018 - Brett Johnson's Craftsmen Studio has returned

Brett Johnson, perhaps the best craftsman Fair Oak Workshops has ever represented is now back in business on a limited basis.
Brett had previously closed his Craftsmen Studio in 2015 so he could personally focus on carpentry in refinishing a lakeside house he and his wife had bought.

His re-entry craftsmanship is a half dozen of what were his previous most popular pieces:

Shown L to R above: Brett’s own design Pagoda Coffee Table, Limbert #240 Tabourret (available in two top sizes), and Limbert #239 Tabourret.
