William Morris Design Rugs
About 10 years ago we spotted a stunning design antique rug at auction. A William Morris design, this rug is thought to have been woven at Merton Abbey soon after Morris relocated there from Hammersmith in 1881.

This rug at auction had an outstanding provenance: Rounton Grange, a country estate in Northallerton, Yorkshire, England designed by Philip Webb in 1872-76 for industrialist Sir Isaac Lowthian and Lady Bell.

At that time we asked our rug importer friend to consider reproducing this rug. After months of color matching and lead time wait, here is the 80 knot hand-knotted rug of Tibetan Wool from Nepal:

Now our rug importer advises there are a few remaining rugs in inventory which we can offer at fantastic pricing! See below our available sizes and prices

You will note we are offering these few rugs at 2005 prices. What an opportunity to buy a rug that is sure to become a family heirloom.

As you know, hand-knotted wool rugs woven on vertical looms in Nepal using Tibetan wool along with tools and production techniques practiced for hundreds of years are the best available.

These rugs are in stock and available for shipment in time for the holidays. Shipping is limited to the lower 48 states and we will charge actual shipping costs.

Due to the limited quantities, availability is subject to prior sale and all sales are final.

Buying a quality rug that will become a family heirloom is a worthwhile investment.
