We first met Chris Efker, owner of Craftsmen Hardware, many years ago at one of the early Grove Park Inn Arts & Crafts Conferences.
Chris’ line of hand-hammered copper hardware is extensive and his workmanship is superb. Craftsmen Hardware is without a doubt the finest hand crafted copper Arts & Crafts Style hardware available. Each piece is carefully hand cut, hand hammered, and hand finished with a rich brown patina.
Over the years we have been pleased to add some of his items to our home. We have also used his beautifully crafted items as gifts for a very few appreciative and special friends.
There are three styles of plaques:
FIELD Style A solid plaque with scalloped edges and a plain small border around the hammered and raised number area.
GREENE Style A solid plaque with scalloped edges and indented corners with a hammered border around the hammered and raised number area.
PACIFIC Style A solid plaque with scalloped edges and four square cutouts in each corner. Their are a pair of intersecting lines in the otherwise plain border.
We are pleased to add these hand-hammered and hand-finished house numbers plaques to our collection.
Plaques can also be crafted in a vertical format. In this case please specify in the order comments of Checkout Step #5.
Because these plaques are custom made for your address, a 50% deposit is required with your order and the finished plaques are not returnable. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your custom plaque to be hand-crafted.
