Todd Hawkinson is a jewelry historian, educator, and jewelry maker.|
He started jewelry making in 1971. He apprenticed under both Ray Grobe and Robert Burke.
As an educator, Todd was the head of the Jewelry Manufacturing & Repair Program at both the Minneapolis Community & Technical College and the Southeast Technical College in Red Wing, Minnesota.
Todd is a member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians and specializes in historic jewelry making techniques of the late 1800ís.
Currently Todd teaches at the North House Folk School in Grand Marais Minnesota.
With a workshop in St. Paul, Minnesota he continues to produce and reintroduce history-inspired jewelry with an emphasis on the Arts and Crafts period. His various collections are shown at juried Art Shows in the upper Mid-west.
Fair Oak Workshops is pleased to once again have a jewelry supplier. While Todd specializes in Arts & Crafts designs, he also crafts Mackintosh and Celtic pieces.
